The best advice I’ve heard for what to do when there’s nothing you can do, or when you don’t know what to do is …
Do nothing.
It may sound counterproductive to do nothing when every fiber of your being cries for action, but doing nothing does something that action cannot do. It prevents you from doing something stupid — something that will really screw things up — something you may later regret.
Doing nothing is a lesson in patience. It gives you the strength to let go and let God, to surrender to a Higher Power.
Which in the end, is the best thing you can do.
